Hey, i figured out how to use the DPG converter, but i have a problem.
When i convert with video:better and sound:better, i get the video perfect, except the colors are messed up.
when i convert with video:best and audio:best, i get the colors right, but the video and sound are WAY off from each other. (like 20 seconds off)
someone please help me!! i would like to be able to watch the videos without lag and with the normal colors.

I used this, but it didn’t convert the file, or does it place the converted file elsewhere?

When I try to run this, I get a an error:
“bash: line 1″ mencoder: command not found”
Does mencoder need to be installed separately? The only download I’ve been able to find of it, is as part of MPlayer OS X - but installing that hasn’t helped.

Why is the video playback in 1/2 time? (Give or take) it looks really good, and the audio sounds great, but the video plays in slow motion or something. What possible things could i change to make it work? I tried adjusting all the settings already!!!

Does this program convert videos to dpg. or does it convert dpg. files to other formats.

all the .dpgs play in slow motion
i tried on botha supercard and R4 so its the converter

how come i cant get this to work? I dont know what to do. it says drag files to convert them. ive dragged avi and mpg files. neither worked :o( im on mac 10.4.10

For your dpg converter VO.2.0, whenever i drag in a movie file and try to convert it, it gives me an error saing “bash: line 1: mencoder: command not found”
What is this mencoder? It syas bove that you changed it, but I am still confused. Please help…

very nice version (it works perfectly on ppc, now)
if we could choose the fps rate before encoding, it would be perfect. (now, I have to encode in 15fps before using dpg converter)

You don’t know how special this program is to me. Your efforts aren’t for naught. Keep up the good worK!! I’ve had trouble with batchdpg and the regular dpg converter, and this program is right up my alley. Thank you for your efforts. I love u.
Ps. Will there be any more updates to this super dope program? Or is it done? Ps2. How do you queue ur conversions? It seems like I have to drag each file 1 by 1 and it shows up on the list, but when I press convert, it converts only 1 file. Thanks! Help me.

Great program! We Mac users don’t have many options. I do wish the audio were synchronized with the video though. Any workarounds you can suggest (assuming I am the only one with this problem) or (assuming the problem is widespread) any plans plans for a new version that addresses this issue?

I can see now that the video and audio start out fairly synchronized, but then the video procedes at a faster speed. I filmed myself counting off ten seconds out loud and on my fingers. On the final DPG, number one was said as the first finger went up, but then the other fingers went up so fast, all ten fingers were up by the time the voice hit number seven. And the movie ended.
It’s not bad for home movies where sync may not matter, but I do hope a new version will come out soon!
